Just dial and wait. It's worked for a couple of different companies that are notoriously bad at allowing human contact.

If that doesn't work, sometimes pressing the pound key and asterisk key randomly with numbers (especially 0) gets you through quicker... There's something with one or the other that works with AT&T (I taught the nynex representative that one)
