I attemted to change my geforce 256 to a quadro and I got one of the resistors off and I took a deep breath look back it was gone! That thing is as small as a grain of salt!!

I plug it back in it works what releafe. Get to window 2k the screen is at 16bit finds new hardware, it couldn't find the right driver and you can't force the wrong drive in win2k like in win98. Well anyways i booted up win98se and forced it to use that driver and it worked! THANK GOD!

EDIT: Got it to work in win2k. What does this resistor do? Should I get a new one?

Thats why some people shouldn't attempt these kind of things. All those resistors there do is configure the BIOS card detection. It will still run witout the resistor, but I bet it detected it as a different type of board.
