I'm a bit confused how one can price match this. The price is 9x.xx on OfficeDepot.com. After you apply the coupon it becomes 83.xx after tax and stuff. BestBuy's price is 79.99. How does the pricematch get you $20?

The price they are price matching is the In-Store price... $97.74

and then price matching Bestbuy's In-Store price of $79.99

The total amount subtracted from the price match is $17.75

which brings the router down to $79.99 and then you subtract the $20 off $75+ Office Depot coupon to get $59.99 in store price.

This worked fine for me at 2 Office Depots, I bought one for myself and one for my brother.

This is a good price, but I wouldn't touch a D-Link wireless product. In my experience, signal degradation is a BIG problem on D-Link's stuff... so unless you are in the same room as your AP, your bandwidth will be horrible.

I've been running this AP for about a year now and have not had the problem you described, and I have a terrible problem with stray RF. Overall, I?ve been very pleased with the unit and D-Link?s driver support.

I just did this deal, but OD wouldn't price match and give the $20 coupon. However, $40 is still a gret price for this router.

I had the same problem. I got the clerk to pm the best buy price, but no $20 off for $75 or more. Even so, 44.50 after rebates is a good deal.

I am using the router on a computer in a room 2 floors up and across the house from the computer I am currently on (in the basement no less). Signal strength reads as excellent, and after running a bandwidth test, I just got 1.1 MBps. Considering a T1 is typically 1.5, and my comcast connection is never more than 3 anyway, I would say I am very happy with my dlink product, thank you very much. 😉 I am using the WUSB11 usb client card from linksys on this computer.

Everyone realizes that they won't get both rebates right? The one from dlink specifically states that you cannot purchase from Office Depot. So you may be getting it for $60 not $40. However, I saw a remanufactured one at Tiger Direct for $40 after a $30 rebate from D-link (not from Tiger Direct). Anybody got any ideas??

hey i'll sell a brand new in the box(no UPC) thought for $30 bucks if anyone wants it.

PM me.

Dude. Here is the link to the office depot page with BOTH rebates. Both state quite clearly that they are viable for this offer. Moreover, only one rebate requires an original UPC. Thus, there joint use IS POSSIBLE.

It has already been covered several times now...

YOU WILL GET BOTH OF THE $20 REBATES!!!!!!!!!

THERE IS A D-LINK REBATE SPECIFICALLY FOR OFFICE DEPOT STORES!!!!!!!!!!

I just did this. Placed the order online, and then called customer service for the price match. The lady was a little dense, but was more than willing to help me out after I reexplained the situation a couple of times. Just emphasize the in-store price before mail in rebates at BestBuy and they'll price match that fine.

I set one of these up at my girlfriend's house when her family got high-speed internet. I can't vouch for the deal, but it's a damn good router. They don't know much about technology so it's been sitting in the corner of their house for almost a year working perfectly.

I called and Office depot said they don't pricematch with bestbuy!

That's when you hang up and get a different CSR. Of course, it might be that Bestbuy doesn't service your area or something, and then they could get you there......

..from FW

update on this deal:

1) Buy from Office Depot by 5/2/2003 for $99, to qualify for these rebates and use a coupon for 15 off 50 (search google)

2) On Sunday, using Office Max circular, pricematch your order down to $59.99

should end up:
59.99 after PM
-15 off 50 coupon
-40 rebates
+tax (varies on how the OD rep applies PM)

= 5 + tax (free shipping)

the 59.99 price is already up on officemax.com, but office depot won't match websites

good luck--

for everyone who missed the last two free di-614 deals, nows your chance..

Do we have to purchase online or can we go to B&M and buy it?

Anyone have opionins of information on how this model is better/different between the DI-714 and this DI-614+ ?

I have a DI-714, out of warranty, and is having problems.....need to replace.

Any info/opionons appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi guys,
I placed an order today (May 2nd) and called OD to PM OM. Sales rep allows me to pm OM for $59.99 plus tax but he took off the $15 coupon. I saw the 2 $20 rebates on OD's website but the rep told me he *thinks* there is only one. Hope the deal will come thru. Thanks for posting the deal bigempty and Arrogance for the alternative.

I just did this....worked great! Thanks! I'll do the PM on Sunday.

Edit This thing rocks x 2! It's got great range, was easy to set up, does dynamic DNS, nice!

don't celebrate just yet...let us know when you PM whether or not they still take your $15 off coupon.

Did anyone save the rebate images from the link above?

I definitely did not, and they are gone now....

any help would be great, PM please..

I don't get it. Why would you use a $20 off coupon if you are PMing anyways? You will get that money back anywho through the PM...
