Wow, that's weird... never seen anything like that before. I searched a few other F@H forums over Google just now and don't see any mention of it there either.
What I do know though is that p568 is a doozy of a protein to fold... it caused 5 core crashes the other day before it finally gave up and let itself be folded. I had to reboot and run at stock CPU speed (2.2 GHz) to get through it. I'm having the same problems with p569 today :frown:

If that was my box I'd walk away from it for 30 minutes and cross my fingers... every time I had a core crash on p568 the other day I lost *all* progress. That protein is wack.Originally posted by: MichaelD
Check it out. TWO LINES now. 😕
Well if you're not losing cores like me, then you're probably OK. My box is still fairly new (to me, anyway) and while everything else (SiSoft Sandra, 3DMark, games in general) shows a big boost with this overclock, these ^%$#ing Gromacs WUs are flopping all over the place. Just goes to show you that F@H is the true test of champions.Originally posted by: MichaelD
Well, this box is really solid. It's overclocked (of course!) but I know the CPU and the motherboard very well...good PS and memory too. It ain't crashing. Curious about the line though. I should pick up another WU in about 30 minutes or so. We'll see what happens.

I have noticed the occasional line in my pie charts also, (key word being occasional) but didn't think enough about it to check it out. Don't know what they represent. 😀
