Welcome to the TeAm, IsaacCha, GlacierFreeze, and dawks :) If you have any questions or need any help, just ask.

I see there is already a "dawks-rawks" folding for the TeAm, is this any relation to dawks?

Congratulations to the Milestone Makers!

MechEng & mitchell_hollberg, welcome to the 100K Club :D

rise4310 & Bobby, welcome to the 10K Club

Thanks Adam

Eh, it's ok. You'll get your official stats page welcome just like everyone else here. You've been crunching that WU for a few days now so you should be making your debut soon.

One of these clunkers that I've got running F@H is doing... 15m per frame.. :(
The other is doing 3.5m per frame.. =\

There are dozens of different protein project WUs. Number of frames per WU vary from 20 to 400. Time per frame can vary greatly also. As a rule, the more points a WU is worth, the longer it takes to finish. They benchmark each protein project on a P4 2.8. The benchmark computer would get 110 points per day (ppd). There are variables. Your mileage may vary.

Oh, that must be why kb3edk said "hmm that name seems familiar". Don't mind me, I'm always slow

That's not necessarily bad. I've had WUs that will take over 30mins a frame. It all depends on the WU and how involved it is. Those don't usually have very many frames though. Then there's WUs that will only take 20sec/frame but have 2000 or more frames.

No matter, keep folding.

It will add up sooner than you think.

I'm plodding slowly towards the 2 million mark.

very slightly if you keep the window closed and only the icon running in the taskbar. If you keep the window open or use it as a screensaver it will be significantly slower than the CLI.
