F@H stats for 3/13/04 - a little help please.

I know it won't help now, but I'll be adding a few 2500+ rigs a 933 p3 and a 2200+ laptop when seti 1 ends, I'm just sticking it out to the end before converting. Several F@H members are helping out seti, I promised I'd return the favor when Seti1 is over and still plan on it.

What kind of production could an Athlon 2500 Barton oc'ed to 3200 (2.2ghz) expect if running F@H? Also have a 2400 at stock 2.0ghz speeds that I may be able to tear away from SETI for a little while.

About 60-80 points per day, anything helps though. Thanks for the help!
Is that just the 2500, or both the 2500 and 2400 combined?
Just the 2500+, both would be around 130-170. This is from dividing my production for today and giving it a margin of error. I've got a 2500+ @ 2.2, 2200+ @ stock and mobile 3000+ @ 2.0 running, so those numbers aren't exact.

In that case I think it's time I start repaying a bit of the SETI TeAms debt where I can. So, where/how do I sign up? Is there anything similar to the SETI Queue system where I can cache work to be done, watch my own stats locally, etc? Any tips/info to get me moving are definitely appreciated. 🙂

There's no way to cache WUs due to the time-sensitive nature of the research. To join, check OT for my post (up soon). Bumps are appreciated until we get a sticky.

It depends on the projects you get. Some projects will top out at over 90 points per day with a Barton at 2.2ghz. If you get an older unit, you may only produce 60 points with the same rig.

If you optimize your installation, you will minimize the older style (tinker) units and get more of the faster (gromacs) units. Add "-advmethods -forceSSE" when you run F@H and you will maximize your production with an athlon.

For example, I have a Barton @ 2.2ghz, a Duron at 2.0ghz and a Celeron 900 and produce between 140 and 200 points per day.

For my P4C system i used the -forceasm flag.

What sort of production am i looking from a 2.8 @ 3.2 P4C.

Also, when i create a shortcut for both F@h4console.exe to place in my startup folder they are viewed as identical files and i can only put one in there. Should i rename the 2nd F@h4console?

Probably, but I'm not sure.
