Welcome our newest members, Mike, jpunzel, and markp!

New milestones today:

Name -----|----- Milestone
-------------------------------

GLeeM ............. 120,000
wbresson .......... 40,000
yelo33 .............. 10,000
DS .................... 1,000

Congrats guys

We made 44,027 points today. Pretty low for us, but there is good news too. In the week between 1/16 and 1/23 we made the most points in any week for over a month. By more than 60,000 points even. This month will be the best we've had in a while.

Mark, you are short just a couple hundred points of reaching the top 10

And in about a week, Gravity will break a million total points!

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for another project with the end of Seti1 coming near, and so far it looks like F@H is it. I played a bit with DPAD, but they don't have Linux clients available. Does anyone here have any experience on the Linux/Unix client for F@H? Good/bad (is it a Win32 executable that requires Wine)? Is there a Solaris version by any chance (or am I too greedy with this request?) ;)

Thanks!

hey, don't forget me... as of right now i am.....

Date of last work unit 2005-01-25 04:17:07
Total score 2000
Overall rank (if points are combined) 98404 of 418472
Active processors (within 50 days) 3
Active processors (within 7 days) 3

YEAH, got to 2000!
I've been and official Team AnandTech member for 10 days with 3 cpu's,
  1. My AthlonXP 2600+ overclocked to 2.5GHz
An AthlonXP 2500+ overclocked to 2.3GHz
    and my PIII 850 laptop

all cranking away. Hmmm, I'm about 15 slots out of the top 1/3rd on the team....yeah...

ok, sorry, I am easily excitable :)

The site also shows 799 active CPUs within 50 days. Is that normal?

Also, anyone know how to reactivate an account on TeamAnandTech.com? It sais the password mailer is deactivated. (I will start a new thread if nobody knows) THanks much.

I dont know about the solaris client, but its not a win32 executable.
It (the linux version) runs really nice, basically just give execute right to the file, and run.
It will run a configuration setting, and ask you some questions, and then run.

For best performance/points, its recommended to have 512MB or more RAM.

Well, we have probably around 200-250 active users I think. So that'd be an average 4 active cpu's per user, which could be accurate. I myself have 4 active cpu's. Some may have only one, but I think Gravity makes up for them :)

It looks like my helper may have flown the coop... but I still have my 2 machines folding. So be nice because I am peddling as fast as I can!

edit: I think it was totally cool that he helped and I'll bet he'll be back from time to time! ;)
