"As there have been 5 consecutive work units which failed to complete, F@H will now go to sleep for 1 day." Then it said something about if i wanted to end this sleep early, I should quit the program and restart it. And that's what I did. So now it says "working 0/0" I've never heard of this one before so someone please tell me what's up.

EDIT: I guess we know what happens now when you forget to add the -local flag...oops:eek:

HAHA, thanks. Don't all my problems make you want to run this program though?

Nah,that doesn't bother me so much. What bothers me more is the lack of responses/support from the F@H TeAm. :Q

I have always been surprised when I find project teams with little interest in communication with their subscribers. I fold for them, but hold no illusions about whether or not they care that I do.

Fortunately, I have a great time discussing stuff with my Anandtech Teammates and that has been enough to keep it interesting. (NOTE: This is true of virtually every AT project team... KUDOS!)

If I had any sort of answer, I would give you one. I am beyond clueless about this, so........

Insidious.
I was actually talking about the Team Anandtech F@H members. We are usually quick to respond with help, so I was surprised at the lack of response.

Did you still need help JeffCos? When I read your thread I assumed you had fixed your problem before anyone had even replied to your thread.

I stand corrected. Confused, but corrected none the less. I guess I must be partly at fault for you being left hanging, but for the life of me, I can't remember seeing your posts asking for help.

Your EDIT: shows that you solved your own problem.

And so you did not need any help. I would have asked for more information and helped otherwise.

Has there ever been a time at these forums when the people doing a project have not offered needed help?

Not since I learned enough to offer aid! :)

I wouldn't be surprised really.

It appears he solved the problem on his own. Which is why nobody responded.

I had this happen once... an unstable OC job left my machine unable to crunch for more than a few minutes before losing the WU, and I lost 5 in a row pretty quick. I think Stanford put this in the client by design... like a failsafe so as not to keep serving up WUs to unstable CPUs. Maybe they assume that, if you are smart enough to read your logs and try to find out what's wrong, you will do something to fix it between quitting and restarting?

Correct. I must have been tinkering with the target box and removed the flags, then when i added advmethods i must have forgot to add local again. I probably should have changed the tread title along with the edit. But on another note, this race to 60k between me and kb3edk is dead even and all my crunchers are on max attack mode. This doesn't look good for team DainBramaged:(.
