OK, I have been using Firdaemon for a while now that I am folding and something interesting happened today. My wifes e-mail started acting really wierd, so just to rule stuff out I ran a virus scan and it popped with with the FireDaemon program as a virus. Is this true? Does anyone elses virus scanner do this?

I've not had that problem with the Norton antivirus program and I have firedaemon on a couple of dozen machines at work where we run trend micro without that problem as well.

McAfee Enterprise edition. I have read a few things that show that this can show up as a false possitive and I went back on my logs and it has been picking this up ever since I installed it. But it can also be installed by viruses and trojans. Since mine was installed by me, I wont worry too much. Plus I monitor my firewall daily and have seen nothing wierd and I have a software firewall on my main PC and nothing has tried to get out. Was just curious if any one else was alerted to this from their AV software.
