Hmm, indeed that is quite weird. I've never done a side-by-side comparison to have noticed that disturbance in the for... er... folding@home point system. 😉
 
I've noticed the same thing.

It must be some strange artifact of using a P4 as the reference system.

Not bashing P4s, just assuming that the reference system is either very slow on p696 or very fast on p638 relative to an Athlon.
 
Of coures which of those 2 Tinker wu's shows up most often???? I know which damn 1 I get most often..... 😉
Actually, maybe thats why the points difference? The 638 wu is more prevalent, or sent out more often??
