F@H: No stats until further notice

Sorry, but Statsman's main site is down and he doesn't seem to be updating his backup site at the normal rate. I guess it's not really his fault (his domain registrar didn't notify him that his account need renewal, and now they're not renewing it for him), but it does make things hard for us. Maybe there will be stats tomorrow morning, or maybe not. As soon as he gets back to a regular schedule, statistics will resume.

No so bad for me since we had a pwr outage last night while I was at work and it took out one of my PC's and the other 3 shut down. Luckily I just had to reinstall. The weird things is my wife said the pwr was only off for 1-2 min. so the 3 PC's I have on APC's shut down. Looks like I have to check into what is plugged into them.

Doh! looks like some of my machines got turned off last night. I gotta get in to work and turn 'em on. 😉

I have figured out one thing.... When I posted several weeks ago that if my PC's shutdown with no explanation, they would take like 30 min to complete a WU vs less than 10min. Well this week while testing some ram I decided that after a radom reboot, that I would just do a normal shutdown. Well after the first step in the wu the SSE boost would come back on and my wu's would return to normal. However if I never rebooted after an abnormal shutdown the wu's would stay at 30 min.

BTW have you seen the 70.9 pt wu? Most of the 50+ pt wu's take me <9 min however this one was taking just under 13 min.
