F@H GPU benchmark chart

Whilst reading a review about my new graphics card I spotted this comparision chart, thought it might be quite useful 🙂.
Their X2 & GX2 scores are meaningless though as they have only run 1 GPU client on those cards!😕

It shows my card at 2675 ppd, currently mine's showing 2697 ppd so that's pretty close (must have similar scored WU by chance).

Oh btw if anyone knows a more comprehensive chart or 1 for CPUs then post away 🙂.

Looks like their X2 & GX2 scores are screwed up though!😕

Did you notice it said that the score was for running only one of the two GPUs?

Yea I saw that too, I guess the extra traffic from 2 GPUs is causing some extra latency?
Oh & did you notice they said they only used 1 GPU client? 😉.

Why they didn't use the 2nd GPU is beyond me, seems utterly stupid to include them then!

Due to the different GPU designs, different types of work unit were used.

Which means you cannot really compare the PPD.
Well you can but you only get a rough idea, as we all know ppd of the same rig varies alot.
My 2xSMP went from 3400-4200, so a rough ballpark figure 😉.

This is kinda old man..New drivers, new cores, new WUs, the PPD has changed by more or less 10%. It is a good read and it shows that NVIDIA dominates ATI in folding.

Yea I know for ATI they use cat 8.10 drivers & 8.12 are now available, also the GPU core has been updated, including a very recent update for ATI cards which boosted their performance a little. However it still gives a ballpark comparision 🙂.

As I said, if anyone knows of a better/new chart then give us the links .

And yea I'm one of the people who are hoping that better F@H ATI performance will be sooner rather than latter! 😉, although I didn't buy an ATI card for F@H in the 1st place.
