makes sense ... but not for me if i *hate* a game

.. i finished NWN2 in godmode because it got so damn buggy at the End - BUT it was good up till then ,,, i just got sick of my Party fighting each other and getting in MY way .. the story was OK .. i just hated the bugs and wanted to see the ending .. i got MotB for $8 and am going to give it a try .. next patch 😛

I had to cheat at the end too.
Those damn scrolls took way too long to read and you would get chopped up in the process.

Mask of the Betrayor is FAR superior.

I loved FEAR, I also typically played it late at night down in my home office in the basement after the kids were in bed and I would freak once in awhile, it was great. I played both expansion packs also, they were pretty good, basically more of the same but still fun.

FEAR = great
expansion 1 = eh
expansion 2 = blah

Hopefully Project Origin will restore the glory and tell at least a little more of the story. The preview vids for it didn't blow me away though.

I didn't find it scary at all... Doom 3 was just as scary 😛

I just didn't have fun in FEAR... I'm trying STALKER as soon as it arrives in the mail

Stalker is great. Has some really creepy parts, much better than Fear IMO. There are freaky parts that I cleared out once and went back too, as soon as stuff started happening I kinda decided to high tail it out of there as it was worse than the first time.
