F.E.A.R. graphics lag

I don't know why the game has such graphics lag, but when I go into an area that is a little more than just a blank hallway my framerate drops dramatically. As you can see from my specs below this game shouldn't be an issue for me to run on medium settings... but it seems to be. The only thing I changed from the stock medium settings for both CPU and GFX was I added 4x FSAA and changed the resolution to 1152 x 864. I should probably try turning FSAA off or something or lowering the resolution, but I really didn't think it was going to be this laggy. I run Battlefield 2 with everything on high with the same FSAA and resolution... is the engine just really buggy?

AA in this game takes a lot of power that today's cards can't offer. Try going for 2x or even off and see how much of an increase you get.
