F.E.A.R. +Expansions 10 bux on steam

I loved all the fear games. In fact fear has some kick ass multiplayer to go with it. I hope you enjoy all the fear 😉

I love them, but given all of Steams bullshit lately I would not buy it there.
Of course I have to admit swapping discs between 3 games is such a hassle.

Fear "1" was developed for the PC.. THEN released to the console [no way you say! Yes!]
Fear "2" was developed as a console game and released on consoles/PC at the same time.

$9.99 for the Fear 1 collection? Get it if you haven't played it - and make sure you play it in a dimly lit room with headphones on.. 🙂

Jump far away. Fear 2 wasn't half as good as the original.

Fear 2 is fun purely for the combat and speed, but I agree it is not half as good as Fear 1. The expansions didn't amuse me that much, but Fear 1 is easily one of my favorite games of all time. It is amazing how much that game has aged since 2005.

The original F.E.A.R. is decent, but I thought that the pace of the game was slow, and even though it's a first-person-shooter it's far from being just a shooter in which you get all the action in so many others of the genre, combat is very localized and scripted, it's heavily story-driven and mostly predictable, at one point you start knowing the "patterns" of the "flashbacks", as soon as you walk in some strange barely lit corridor without a single enemy you know you'll have some vision of some sort.

But, overall, it's decent, nothing mind-blowing, I liked it enough to complete it one time, then I never touched it ever since (I bought it the same week of its release). I must say that the A.I was very impressive however, I'm sure it still is even to this day.

ok we get it..you dont like steam...

Fear was a fantastic game that still looks good when maxxed out. Gameplay for its day was awesome and still plays great. I remember the first time that creepy little thing showed up....

Fave of mine was to play it with shotgun onry on hardest settings with no use of bullettime..

I loved the first game and both expansions, but the second game wasn’t that great in comparison (I’m playing through it again right now). The weapons, level design, combat, AI and even graphics were worse.

Yeah, it has that Film grain crap. I might get this seeing as I'v never actually finished FEAR 1.

I think I lost a FEAR disk during my move.

I need to try to find it; if I can't I'm getting this.

The original FEAR was amazing. Definitely worth everyone penny, and the multiplayer was extremely fun as well when it was in full swing.

FEAR 2 was definitely not as good.

i never bothered buying fear 2. Getting to play it on steam was bad enough already.

Although, the original which i had years ago. Is a great buy.

I wouldn't get FEAR 2 unless I was seriously out of good games to play. Not likely this decade.

FEAR 1 still has amazing AI and looks good. Every now and then I will jump into FEAR Combat and play some good old CTF.

FEAR 2 is a steaming pile of turd. I don't know how they managed to make the AI so terrible when they already had great code written from the original game.
