F.E.A.R. & EAX

I noticde for F.E.A.R. in the sound settings, there are two for EAX, "EAX 2", and "EAX HD"

I can't say I'm a pro that knows much about it, but with a game showing to setting for it, would you want to enable them both, or one, or the other?

I take it the HD, stands for High Definition, and possibly the 2 is just a simpler older format of EAX?

What is your sound card?

Since you can have both settings enabled at once I'd guess they're cumulative.

It means that they probably stack; I presume you'll get better quality with both enabled rather than just one of them enabled.
