Santa is coming!

OMG anyone else having problems downloading this massive file, I keep getting like 1.5 GB and then this error comes up.

starwars7 not sure what is up ....last night I dl the game and got over 600KB dl and full at 1.8G.....sounds like my typical dl I get most of the way then die.
I got it from the fileshack dl site on the list.
Who did you dl it from?

if you are on old fat 16 I don't know if you can dl over 1.5 G in a root directory can you?
Someone please clear this up.....make sure and use a sub directory if so.
JUST GUESSING

Agreed, at least worth a download. Good game to jump into for a quick 10-15 minutes of fragging. But yes you need a fairly powerful system to run it nicely.

starwars7: Try finding a torrent link to download FEAR Combat, or use a download manager like GetRight so that you can resume if some error comes up. I'd hate to download 1.5GB from the web and have it hose out, then lose it all and have to download again.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm trying it again with GetRight so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I'm running a Western Digital 3.0Gbps 250GB 7200RPM 16MB Caviar SE16 thats NTFS format, so I don't think that's the trouble. Could definitely my internet connection though.

this is an excellent game with several different game modes and people are making custom maps. I host a server for this every once in awhile when the gang and I are not doing it old school. This one of the few new FPS I like and free sure helps. Getting on TS and doing CTF is a hoot.

free is nice when you don't have the attention span to make it worthwhile to buy retail games. thanks op!
