F.E.A.R. 2 Reborn DLC

F.E.A.R. 2 is half price on Steam and I've been looking for a good shooter to pass the time until CoD:MW2 and other upcoming summer titles so I decided to pick it up. Just wondering if anyone has played the Reborn DLC, and is it worth picking up? It's half price too, so only $5USD, but I'm a cheap bastard I searched but couldn't find a thread about it.

I really liked FEAR, but FEAR 2 definitely was a let down to me. I didn't bother with the DLC.

I've only played the Demo of Fear 2 and thought it was good. Kinda hard to judge the Story from a Demo though. As a FPS game it was enjoyable.

I loved FEAR2 (and 1) but haven't tried the DLC yet.

Well I just finished my first play session after waiting ~8.5 hours for the download, it was a lot of fun I think I'm going to like this game, and I'll probably grab the DLC tomorrow while it's still half price.

Just finished the DLC. Pretty fun, fairly mindless, opens up a new possibility for FEAR 3 at the end. Definitely worth the $5 for an evening's worth of shoot-em-up (or an hour, if you play on anything other than Hard).

I just started FEAR 2, I'm enjoying it, not as mucht as FEAR 1, but still very satisfying FPS action so far. Will probably get the DLC also this weekend.

lol...figured out something today. I played through the main campaign and DLC with black bars at top and bottom of screen - had this in many other games so didn't really notice.

Was messing around with advanced settings...if you have a 16:10 monitor, select "widescreen: no" and you'll have full-frame in 16:10.

EDIT: just took screenshots to compare, non-widescreen setting, while filling the full screen, cuts out the sides instead of adding to top and bottom.

Just finished the main game and absolutely loved every minute of it Glad I picked up the DLC while it was cheap, will be playing it tonight.

Edit - I thought the ending was great BTW, I know a lot of people didn't like it.

I finished Reborn yesterday in two sessions; it's about 2-3 hours. $9.99 is too much but for $4.99 it's okay.

Think I'll pick up the DLC also, I should have grabbed it last weekend. Oh well.
