mmm...if you don't know where to find it, you probably shouldn't be using it. But anyways, if you have a Win98 CD or boot disk, it's on there. Otherwise, you can download a bootdisk or just fdisk from bootdisk.com.

What werk said.

There really is no need to use fdisk anymore unless you are using an old OS. When installing W2K or XP you can do all the partitioning you need during the install process. If you are adding drives, you can do all of that through Disk Management in Windows.

Thanks people,
It took me a while, but i finally successfully installed xp. I dont understand why, although the first i tried to install xp it stated that it could not delete the one partition. Nevertheless the partition table somehow got messed with and I had to transfer the errored hard drive to a computer with working windows and format the drive from with windows.
I think that this installation was just cursed to begin with because it took me so long and some many haphazarrd irregularities in installation. Once i fixed the partition, the boot record was acting properly so i had to reformat once again. After I finally installed xp, the local network at my school would let me log on for some unknown reason. Eventually I remedied the situation and thank you people for your help.
