i actually look a course on this sort of thing in college.
the course was pretty much centered around the susan smith case, particularly the media/american people/police accepting that a non-descript black man was responsible for the murders and how the coverage and the story changed after the truth was revealed.
 
Not only is she dead, but she's been dead for a while.

Edit: I agree with the point of the article. Maybe she was hammered, went out for a swim, drowned?
 
Sometimes I wonder how they honestly choose these high profile kidnapping cases....not to sound totally heartless but do they just draw a name from a hat and go hog wild from there???

I agree with the writer that initially I felt sad and waggled my tongue at the effects of alcohol and youth but now I just dont care....I remember hearing something about if a missing person isnt found in 72 hours they are most likely dead, obviously this isnt always the case like with elizabeth smart and that young gal in idaho, but that poor gal in Aruba is dead or in the sex trade...I highly doubt she could be alive.
 
She was a young, pretty, rich girl. The american people can't help but feel bad. Then after they feel bad, they turn on the latest episode of "I wanna be a Hilton" to feel good about themselves. It's whatever rakes in the dough, ladies and gents.

Read the other recent thread where I covered how there is no remotely plausible way she is in the sex trade. We can say with basicly 100% certainty she is dead. (The only real way I could see otherwise if she deliberately suddenly ran away and took steps to alter her appearance as she voluntarily continues to conceal her true identity.)
 
I am happy to report that I did not in fact know who Natalie Holloway was before reading that. Unfortunately, I am saddned to report that I was vaguely aware of some girl disappearing in Aruba. Stupid ATOT :\

I will look that up then, but I believe she's dead, or as my uncle so half drunkenly put it tonight, bait for the sharks. And the changing her appearance is definitely a long shot, but after the whole like 'runaway bride' thing, not impossible to consider.
