F 450 (the upcoming Ferrari, not a truck)

I clicked on this thinking, a Ford F450 thread?

This looks interesting, but the back looks a bit long.

To each their own, but that sweep over the rear wheel gives me shivers.

I'm thinking that sweep is for larger engines? Maybe a V10 or V12 F450 will show up.

I bet the final car doesn't have that weird swoopiness in the doors and B-pillars. I sure hope not! To me it looks OK but no nicer than the F430 and not nearly as nice as the 360.

It's strange how different tastes go -- I really didn't like the 360, thought the 430 was better but still not hugely attractive. The 355 was OK but again, not immensely pretty. This picture of the 450 has my jaw on the floor.

Wait so which is it, F450 or F500; or are they different cars all together? I was reading Motor Trend and they were talking about an F450 while Car & Driver is talking about an F500.

Yeah i saw that too.

I just had a Ferrari behind me at a red light. Heard the rumble first, then checked in my rearview and only saw the top of the roof.

Once the light turned green, I got over to the right and let him pass. Beautiful car, but I can't imagine driving one around town, I'd be too paranoid...

Don't like the back at all. The F 430 was succinct and formidable at the front, while keep it easy at the back.

This just looks...wannabe futuristic.

Yawn, predictable replies.

Happens with every single new car these days it seems.

New Porsche 911 comes out and people point out that the old one looked better.

New 3 series comes out, it's an abomination next to the older models.

Funny because the older models people idolize so much were also ridiculed when they first came out. (Porsche is the best when it comes to fooling people, they have been switching up the same design for over a decade now, the "new" 911 will go back to the raised headlight look, which fools 996/997 owners into thinking the 993 inspired new model is actually "new."

People have to stop living in the past; your old Sega Genesis has nothing on an Xbox 360, sorry.

Not true at all. When people post pictures of the new 911, others ask why pictures of the old one are posted, not realizing that is the new one

I hate the F430. It looks restrained and industrial, sort of like a brushed-aluminum Italian automatic espresso machine. Put it next to an especially stylish German coupe - say, the Audi TT - and it looks bland.

I quite like the F550. It's absolutely mad. As mentioned above, the curves do remind one of a woman's hips, only except in this case the woman in question is off her mind on cocaine and can't decide whether to have sex with you or rip you limb from limb, or possibly combine the two.

The Dreamcast is having a mini resurgence.
