Absolutely. You have to remember that Moonbeam has reached deep within himself and "killed himself" which turned him into a WoW-playing Jesus who spreads his Zen-like wisdoms on P&N.

Of course right/wrong and good/bad exist... we all just have to achieve our own psychological breakthroughs and then we'll all know truth and be little Moonbeam clones ;)

Moonbeam plays WoW?

Yes, I play, Flyingdick, a Tauren Hunter on Shadowsong.

Edit: Although by accident, I seem to have flown up cw's ass.

Wow, WoW is pretty popular. Hmmm...

Act 4, Scene 3:

Blood Guard Thromkar: Okay you whelps, the highs have sent our orders down. Alliance drones have amassed on the Plains of Demia, and they hold a strategic position that the Warchief has deemed valuable. We attack at dawn, sharpen your weapons grunts, WE TAKE NO PRISONERS!

Scout Flyingdick: Yeah right, don't you understand that your bloodlust is only triggered by pent up feelings of childhood isolation and fear? Our Horde shall never move forward until we find common ground with the Alliance scum, and soothe our own shattered selves of times past. We must realize that this battle is only exacerbating the problems we have faced to this point, we must realize that everything is about love!

Blood Guard Thromkar: Uh... ok. New plan. Sharpen your weapons grunts, WE TAKE NO PRISONERS! Except you Flyingdick. You get to meet the enemy with a box of :cookie:s. Have fun.

Sorry about that, I just, uh... there's not really that much to say about this plane.

Confirms the shallowness of thoughts when mind meets technology.

If it doesn't have UV lights and twinkle fans and can be used to surf for porn . . .
it doesn't rise to the mentality of the masses.

Sorry to veer off-topic... I'm actually a HUGE aircraft fan and have been since I was about 10 years old. You should see my classroom (oops, I'm sure that'll confirm my "warmonger/chickenhawk" status among the dweebs). It's funny, but the only topic I have in my "favorites" is your Aviantion Blunders thread. Cool stuff, and I also appreciate this info here, even though I haven't really addressed the OP :)

The comments on the precision fit of microchips bears no resemblence to
large aircraft parts - 35 foot wide wingspans,
or 40 foot long fuselage sections that are made on different coasts or different continents
that can be mated within a few thousanths of an inch first time.

I would expect precision micro-electoronics components that are made through lithographic processes to repeat
within tenths of a thousanth of an inch each time in a clean-room environment.

Open shop mate and assembly work with touch labor making the joints is another matter.
Expansion rate of aluminum alone
for a 10 foot part may allow linear tolerance shifts of 1/4 inch, holding that to +/- 0.003 is amazing.

I don't really keep track of computer hardware that much anyway, and my computer isn't very glamorous. If a technological advancement can do something directly for me right away, I may show some casual interest, but in general I just don't care. And planes in particular interest a particular type of person (a fan of planes). I also don't care about new cars, new boats, new mattresses, etc. I'm sure somebody finds all those things interesting, but you can't expect everybody to find everything fascinating.

As you see, I already apologized for veering this thread off topic, there's no need for you to be an asshole about it.

Comment was reply to Eaglekeeper - some people appreciate technological advances in aerospace, others are more impressed with illicit pharmacudecals.

I just used your reply as a point to launch a quote from.

Ironic that most of the parts that go into a project like this are simply known to the manuifacturers by part number and they have no clue whatsoever as to where they go on the plane...

We are very ingenuous at killing and devote massive sums to it, but if you really want to get excited about something take a look at the needle and thread. Oh man it is just F%cking amazing. And think of the implications. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I just came all over myself. God, I love getting excited. I just hate knowing why.
