Eye dialation.. how long does it last?

Just got back from the eye doctor and I now realize how annoying it is to have your eyes dialated....anyone know how long it usually lasts? :-(

was it for Lasik or regular checkup? my lasik one lasted about 2 days, regular checkup ones usually last 8-12hrs. YMMV

About 12 hours from a lasik pre-op exam.
