1. This shows that 50% or so of caucasians have blue eyes.

2. If you include hazel as brown(because there is discrepancy there) its 50/50.

ppl lying in your favor... hazel is considered light, and green aswell, you are looking at 70% light eyes right now...

certainly in no way light
 
I have DARK hazel eyes... meaning mostly dark brown, but sometimes you can see green/gold mixed in there depending on weather/what im wearing



Hazel is dark 50% of the time at least, and lightish some of the time (if the green and gold parts are dominant.




So at best you can count 50% of hazel eyes as "light" and 70% of green eyes as light..

that leaves you closer to the 50% total rather than 90%....
