Extremely weird bug... Can't go to www.mojonation.net without a "network connections" dialog popping up... VPN related?

I used the Network Connection Wizard to set up my PC to answer incoming VPN connections a few weeks ago, but haven't really done anything with it except test to see if I could connect to myself using a "localhost" VPN connection. I've been using the 'net for a few weeks since then. I heard about a distributed storage P2P network and wanted to see what it was about, so about a week ago I tried to go to the site: www.mojonation.net It timed out and never loaded. It tried again today, but EVERY time I try to access it I get THIS pop-up. If I click "connect" my VPN connection launches and I loose all access to the 'net until I disconnect. If I cancel, the site times out. VPN is not configured for anything and I can't imagine why it's trying to launch any sort of outside dial-up networking connection when my real connection is working flawlessly... Any ideas? Can anyone else reach the site?

/EDIT turns out it does this for any non-existant domain name... But not on any inaccessible website... Weird?

www.mojonation.net has no default webpage - there is no site there. The message you get is your computer's attempt to locate the file/page by using all available network connections. When you setup your VPN, you setup another network connection your PC can try. Try deleting it just for kicks and you'll see that going to www.mojonation.net doesn't exist and brings up the regular cant find page page...
