Extremely quick question

Is it safe to use twist ties, you know, the kind with the metal in the middle to twist the loose cables together? Or is that a bad idea?

Should get some of those plastic zip ties. I don't know if the metal will interfere.

Shouldn't cause a problem, but plastic ties would most likely be preferred..

metal ones are more of a pain anyhow!

use the plastic ones. the metal ones will come undone.

I use velcro tape. Cut to size - works great.
