Extremely Frustrating Problem, Affecting Performance Completely

I'd not put the old psu on a new board, that's an absolute. so far, the system seems better than before, or am I isreading your posts since you put the new PSU in?
as for a replacement board, keeping the processor and ram. gskill ram has not been doing well on a good number of boards, but I'll see what I can find.

I'm a sole trader in Australia trading as Nerdcomp Solutions. I peruse through these forums reading pc probs. In robisbell defence he does dig at issues to bring out the cause. Without seeing the cause or have the feel sitting in front of the prob pc is hard.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE**** I spent hours and hours on a pc one day with a prob having slow mpb. It turned out a mouse had been eating the data cable leading to the router. From then, being a year or so I kept the KISS princiable, Keep it simple stupid. It works.
 
heh, hate to bring this back up to the top but it just happened again so it is looking like the PSU didn't solve it 😛
