the blue title bar at the top needs to be a bit bigger

you should also leave more space between the right side of the page and the news boxes

the colors arent bad.. its interesting.. a couple high quality graphics in the same tone would make it look alot better...

it needs a litte work but it has potential

In my not so humble opinion, the new design is much better. At least it has more of an asthetic (sp?) appeal.
