Right now I have two 40GB hard drives (Seagate and Maxtor) in my rig but I am thinking about add another hard drive. Do you think 3 hard drives are too much? Or should I get external hard drive but my mobo has USB 1.1. I don't know when I will plan on mobo upgrade bec my cpu is only less 9 months old.

Your suggestion will be apprecited.

3 fine and you can always get an external case later on when upgrading and throw ome of the HD's in it...

7 Hard drives?? I thought IDE only supports up to 4 drives so I assumed you use SCSI?
