I think my tickets are for digital but...oh well I don't care that much. I'm sure if there are 10 min they're not very goo d;0

I saw Ep. II in a digital theater, but I was asleep for a third of the movie. The image quality is really nice though.

I will be seeing it in a digital theater in NJ. I saw EP1 or 2 (don't remember) in a digital theater and the picture was awesome!

there's two within 30-35 minutes of me.

I'd check it out if I thought there was half a chance of this movie not completely sucking.

yessir...film showing for me at midnight (damn my friends for being slow to respond) and at least one digital showing throughout the day. I gotta cram it in since I'll be drunk out of my mind for most of the weekend.

Sweet....there is a theater showing it digitally in Austin (just ~70 miles north of San Antonio, which is nothing for me). :)

And to me, the Star Wars experience is not complete unless it is a THX equiped theatre, which the theatre I have tickets for is. And has a 75 foot screen. All Praise the Galaxy 10 theatre. Bow down to it since it is the only theatre in the DFW metroplex that still has THX certified sound equipment.

Sucks that the theaters in my area showing the digital version are all crap theaters in the hood.

Come on guys, film is better than digital. This is marketing... I thought that would be pretty damn obvious.

While I prefer the look/feel of a new print to digital projection, the wear and tear film is subjected to degrades the quailty.

Digital will completely replace film in the next 5-8 years.

I caught Ep II and III on a DLP screen - the AMC in Oakville, Ontario. Looked great. :)

i saw this film early today in taiwan on a dlp screen with thx certified sound. let me tell you it was one hell of an experience. the dlp look was different and the images appeared to be sharper but some of the darks were a little off.

the THX sound was amazing in the theater and i could really feel the pressure of the engines of the ships and the electricity of the lightsabers.

sigh, i go back to michigan in a few days and i'll have to go back to normal film theaters and no thx sound hitting my chest

Interesting...I saw it in a digital theater and don't know if there was extra footage or not. It still sucked, so don't worry about it.

Digital theater actually hurt my eyes more--lightsaber flashes and explosions are way too bright.

edit: runtimes for both versions are 148 minutes on theater home page.
