External Wireless G

Looking for a good wireless module for my server. The server is out of PCI slots, needs to be external connected by USB. Doesn't need to be uber powerful, the router is 15ft. away and site to site, no solid objects. Needs to support no security and WPA 1 networks. Thats it. It will only be used to connect to the schools internet connection, so the full 16mbs down would be nice but really not necessary. Thanks for the help.

Which OS are you running? Wireless drivers are sometimes a pain. If you have a free LAN port, and want to go wireless driver-free, you could use a client mode wireless bridge.

DD-WRT or similar firmware running on a compatible router might be best, because its "client mode" incorporates a firewall. If you don't care about the firewall, there are other off-the-shelf options.

This needs to be able to work on windows XP Home and Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. Working with Vista is a plus, but certainly not a requirement. It's only use is to connect the server to the schools internet connection. All three LAN NIC's are taken. The first is used for DHCP, NAT internet serving (the internet will come from this USB wireless device). The other two are load balanced apache server points to serve content at 2Gbs. I just need a simple way to log onto the school wireless network.

This is all 32bit by the way.
