Hi,

I asked a question already about a external USB adapter I purchased. I bought the Sound Blaster Recon3D with the Omega Wireless headphones. I have it connected to my PC using an optical cable because I was having issues with popping/cracking sound with just using the USB connecter and not connecting the optical cable. I have an ASUS P8Z77-V Motherboard with the Reltek ALC892 audio chip and it has an option in the Sound Settings for Dolby Digital. The Recon3D USB adapter which connects to the wireless headphones has it's own virtual surround sound software application. I think it uses Dolby Digital and THX. Should I enable or disable the Reltek virtual surround sound in the Sound Settings if the Recon3D is already decoding it? Thanks.

David
