external sound card

I have logitech thx 4.1 speakers that are pretty damn awesome on my desktop (still using a Soundblaster Live card), however, on my T40, the speakers never get loud enough to please me. To get the sound reasonably high, I have to turn up the volume really high. What would be a good external card to use with the speakers/laptop I have that isn't too pricey. (preferably under 150).

Any links/suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you!

Well you can get the Creative DDTS-100 for about $125 shipped from Newegg.

Its basically an Audigy 2 ZS in an external enclosure with a lot more inputs.

Supports pretty much every type of sound format (DTS, DD5.1, PLII).

Basically its a reciever in a smaller enclosure. Its a nice piece of hardware. I have one sitting here and use my Xbox and Gamecube on it.
