am thinking of getting a internal hd and an enclosure. My friend had over 10 games on his comp cracked......thinking of using this hd to copy them. How do i go about doing this....how do i format the drive so i can just plug and copy? gonna use usb 2.0.

Soo... you're asking us how to help you pirate software eh? That doesn't really make you much of a 1337 h@><0r d00dZ!

Whatever, I really don't care... 1) install internal drive in drive enclosure 2) plug in usb cable to computer 3) power on 4) windows will detect the new drive 4) if it is not formatted, it will ask if you want to format the drive 5) you want to say yes 6) you're ready to use the drive - that's it

 
I believe you just used the wrong term. You mean he has backups of the games that he is either letting you try out or is selling them to you with the originals. I suggest to turn off the external enclosure when you are not using it unless you have a fan on it to prevent overheating.
