When ever I use to plug in my external drive it always was the " I " drive. Some how it got changed to " K "and stays there.I think it had to do with me trying to add another USB thumb drive at the same time. Any way! How can I get the drive back to " I " again?

Here are instructions on Windows XP, but I think they're the same on Vista/7:

  1. Right-click My Computer (just Computer on Vista/7, I think)
  2. Click Manage
  3. Click Disk Management
  4. Right-click on external drive (i.e. k🙂
  5. Click change drive letters and paths
  6. Click change
  7. Select I:
  8. Click OK twice
  9. Close computer management
