whenever I insert an external drive or usb thumbdrive into my Windows 7 computer, I am getting the following error:
f: \ file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.
of course, I've googled this error, but most of the results I find seem to either have the symptom of:
1. messed up file associations with a particular file type
2. inability to open and browse the drive at all
I don't have either of these problems. Everything seems to be working fine on my computer, and I can use the drives as normal. I just get this annoying message whenever I connect them.
Any ideas?
