extending a cat5

I have a 50feet and 25 feet cat5, is there anything i can use to connect the two to make one long 75feet?

They sell CAT-5 'couplers' to connect the cables just like the ones for telephone cord extension. Radio shack probably has them.

or you could just put a hub there, I know couplers are cheaper and dont require power, but I have a few hubs lying around and no couplers so the first thing I would grab would be a hub.
This would also ensure that the signal is strong enough because you are getting up there in length.
