extend wifi on phone help

hi guys

im trying to connect to a free open wifi hotspot 40 metres from me on my cell phone. im about 10 metres out of range, does anybody know how i can get an extra 10 metres range? also, im in a seperate building from where the hotspot is. thank you.

In order to extend range you need a weak signal that can be clearly received and extended. You have No signal there is Nothing to extend.

it's a free wifi hotspot, i can get a signal if i move 20 feet closer to the hotspot, any device that will work with my cell phone to give me an extra 20 feet in range?

As I said above if you do not have a Signal in your spot nothing there to extend.

If (as an example) it is a home and the back room does not have a signal you put in the middle of the home where there is a signal and install there and extender to push the signal further.

Hopefully you figure out from the above how to do this i your neck in the woods.
