Hi,
Hope someone can help.
Have a server that is being migrated from site A to B but the requirement is that server at site B should be in the same Subnet (from /24) as other devices in site A. Site B is in another city.
Site A and B topology is the Same, where devices or server is connected to a Layer 3 switch(vlans used), which is connected to a PE in a MPLS cloud with VRF.
Is there a possibility to advertise more specific route (/32) from site B for server and have that routed to site A so that devices wishing to access Server can use the more specific route?.
Or routing will fail? the return traffic from site A, on seeing two routes (/24 & /32) will get confused?
Wanted the easiest option, don't want to go the VPLS option if I can get above working.
Thanks in advance.
