right click my computer - properties - "Network identification" tab - Properties button - Then click "member of domain:" and type the name of the domain.
i think that's how u join a machine to a domain.
but my question was, if the machine already joinning a domain with multiple workgroups, how could u assign it (the machine) to a specific workgroup in that domain.
Why would you need to? OUs are just logical seperations, if you're in the domain already you should be able to access machines in all the OUs of that domain.
