Expressions that irk you

Here's one that always got on my nerves:

"Well to be honest, ..." or
"Well to be perfectly honest, ..."

Which implies to me that in the past the speaker has NOT been honest!

Please post yours, I know there are plenty more.

well i figure when someone starts with that statement all they are trying to do is appease their own conscience. they don't trust you, a are just giving you face play. grow some balls a tell em you don't trust em, sheesh.:|

some words that really tick me off that people in WI said
"WARSH" warsh? WTF??? it's WASH. The is no hard 'r' in wash.
