i like abercrombie and express. the 1mx shirts arent bad, i bought some last yearm and they are still in great shape. The Express polos are pretty nice too. I do miss the structure name though. This is a hot deal!

BTW Abercrombie is having a summer sale, too bad I cant fit their muscle sizes (besides XXL muslce sigh...)... they are losing sales from muscle fits IMHO.

American Eagle is having a sale along with aeropostale that is always having a sale... hahaha

It really is all the same. Even though it's independent and marketting on its own now, Abercrombie spun off of The Limited a while ago anyways. It is indeed what is "in" right now though, and will probably be for the next few years. For pure brand recognizability/stability, I would have to say that Ralph Lauren Polo and Lacoste are my favorite clothes. The image of alligators chomping is badass. No way you can't appreciate the gator. If you want to seem like the discriminating prick, you could always buy a few Burberry shirts. Either way, clothes are clothes and life is life. I'd like to spend money on a house, a car, or my computer, but attracting the opposite sex does matter too.

Abercrombie was actually the "in" thing about 4 years back, theya re very much faded in popularity now...

and yeah, I'll agree, express won't get the 16-20 crowd, but hell, I like my girls through puberty anyways. Express is aimed at the same market as Bananna Republic, so you're talking 22-30's and for some people through life at that point, not teeny bopper crap. Again, Ralph Lauren is another of the "out" designers, and has been for quite some time, hence why places like TJ Maxx are stocked to the roof with their stuff

Well, I am 19. TJ Max has good polo? I thought they just had the "annoying big emblem no body wants this crap" brand name stuff. I like the simple one horseman design followed by stripes on the shirt or what have you.

.... then you wouldn't be a loser
I didn't mean to call asains losers, I just gave some insight on who I most often see either shopping or admiring the marketting disaster/homosexual craphouses known as gap, express for men, banana republic, j crew, and [insert crap brand here]. When I was a youngun, I used to wonder why people around me looked down on those brands. Now I know why.. cause for $50 you could either buy a few packs of "in" white thsirts or another, more respected brand of clothes. You want a good deal on something "in", go to amazon.com. They have $60 polo shirts for $30 or $40. The crap stores follow in a line behind mostly Polo and Abercrombie, which are crap in their own right.

why do you any of you pay this guy any mind?

he obviously has no clue. he even thinks that South Park originated the term "metrosexual" when it's been common jargon for well over a year.

i'll have to check this out. I don't really like the quality on many of the banana/gap/express stuff, but sometimes there's gold there :D

apparently this is off topic because its not about race, but isn't it crazy they don't sell clothes online?

Yah, you'd think that a company under the Limited, Inc. brand could afford an ecommerce branch.

Well, that didn't take long for the arguments to start. And yeah, this is a pretty good deal, I already have 3 of them. Not a perfect fit, but much cheaper than a nicer dress shirt, so you don't have to worry about taking too good of care of it.

and man, I want to reply to some comments...but it's pointless anyway.

how can it be said that abercrobmie is the only one "in style" and not gay when everything they sell now has pink in it, thus refering back to your metrosexual comment again. Abercrombie is the worst store of them all, and we all know you just shop at k-mart for all your clothes anyways, so dont act like you know what you're talking about

I'd comment on your blatant homophobia, racism, and shameless bigotry, but I doubt you'd understand the language of the reprimand. So I leave you with this quote:

IT IS BETTER TO BE SILENT AND THOUGHT A FOOL THAN TO OPEN ONE'S MOUTH AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT.

This is suppose to be a hot deals thread isn't it? Seems like lately there have been a lot of arguments on the threads. I think I guessed the age bracket before it was stated. There are a lot of other forums out there that have a bunch of guys spitting out ghetto garbage to each other. Can we keep that off AT?

I was at Roosevelt Field Mall yesterday (Long Island) and saw this deal....was so tempted because in my opinion, the 1MX shirts have had the best fit on me. I remember they had them on sale for $19.50 last year and I picked up 5 of them. I didnt grab any, but I'm thinking of heading back.

As for the pink, the pink they have for the 1MX isnt the pastel looking pink that guys are pulling off this year, it's actually more of a hot flourescent pink which I don't think fits that metrosexual style this summer. They had a pastel-style purple that I thought was nice.

JKRIO:
As for Abercrombie being the "in" thing...I don't know where you're from, because it obviously isnt NYC. And dude, if you ARE from NYC and think Abercrombie is the "in" thing, then I feel bad for you so you missed the boat by over a year and either are the laughing stock of the your friends and the city or your friends are just as behind the trend as you are. As for the Asian comment, you clearly pointed out your ignorance on the issue, and yes just as EXman said you have a right to be that way, I think all you managed to do was lose respect in the eyes of other. That may not matter to you and that's cool, your choice. Oh, and as for Asians being the people that mostly shop in the store, if that's what you see, then you're definitely not from NYC...either that, or you happened to visit a store in Chinatown if there is one.
