I am almost done setting up my wife's new computer I built. The last thing I need to do is move her email message that she has saved. The trouble I ran into seems to be that you need outlook on the same machine as the outlook express in order to export it. In other words, it does not export to a file like Outlook does. Any help with this?

On the old machine, the easiest way to locate Outlook Express' email store is to ask Outlook Express. Fire it up, and then in Tools, Options, on the Maintenance tab there's a button labeled Store Folder. Click that, and it will tell you the folder containing your email folder, and hence, all your messages.

Copy the entire contents of that directory to a floppy, CD-ROM or share on your network. And then place it in the same location on the new machine.
