If Trump has any sense, he'll make sure his people canvas the crowd near the stage and remove inflammatory signs at the rally in Charlotte tonight (I.e. any with rhetoric similar to that pasted all over the MAGAvan) so that they don't show up on TV.

And without Texas, Trump wouldn't have won the electoral college. You can't just remove one state from the results and expect it to still be meaningful.

Not really the same, she'd still be behind him. Point is CA is very blue, TX even if they went very red the electoral college buffers that. Keeps states' rights preserved, you know, how America is supposed to be.

I really hope that doesn't happen. I'm glad I'm on the side with the guns that can form a militia if it did. But, as long as you're opposed to common sense things like ignoring border security and leaving the 2A alone, you aren't making it easier to come together.

You're right, TX just barely doesn't have enough EC votes to have swung the balance, but my point stands.
You can't disregard an entire state when viewing the results of the vote. Like it or not, Hillary was more popular.
