Explosion in Encion California Apartment Complex

BTW, this is in the center of the Apt. Complex and the fire is nowhere near under control.

So far no idea.... they are talking about the terror warning right now. They said the explosion was so powerful that it breached the firewall in all three floors of the townhome style condiminium. They said possibilities are a meth lab, natural gas, or terrorist attack.

Yeah, they don't build luxury homes next to airports. Low-buck places are conducive to drug activity, but that is also highly dependant on management/ownership. I'd bet on natural gas in the laundry room.

Nope, I rented a condo apartment for a year before I bought my home.

If it was a meth lab that means they were flushing all the waste chemicals down the tub into the plumbing and sewer lines. Nice! It would leave a distinct odor.

Good thing about old people is that they can draw on past experiences to help educate the young!!

Whoa... that must have been quite an explosion.

I doubt it was a terrorist attack, personally. Perhaps if across the country 10 other apartment complexes had blown up at the same time it would be more believable.

Perhaps there was an odor. why would one of the assumtions be a meth lab if there wasn't a reason to believe a meth lab? *shrug* who knows...could be any of them i guess. we'll see.

Yeah, and they'd go for very high profile buildings, like the John Hancock building in Chicago, for example.
