Exploring the registry without being in windows?

Quick question for anyone whos up at the moment...
I have the harddrive from my old computer installed as a slave on my new computer...I want to access the registry from the old harddrive's windows folder...how would i do that without booting up into that harddrive?

not sure if you can do that; however you can export your whole entire old registry into a .reg file, which you can open in notepad on any computer. i don't know otherwise...
