explorer side view with folder name

Red Squirrel

No Lifer
This is kind of a silly thing but I can't for the life of me figure out how to set this. For some reason all my explorer windows now only have the contents, not the left side bar thingy where it shows the name of the folder I'm in as well as the information on any selected files. How do I get this back? I recall something about .htt files but not sure if XP uses that or something else. Funny as I remember how to do it in 98 but not xp, and I have not used 98 in ages. (or I would have shot myself by now 😛)

I don't know if that's what you mean, but you can open explorer for example when double clicking "my computer" and then press the "folders" icon in the navigation bar.

Nah that I know how to do. Heres a screenshot of what I mean:

The part thats in the red, where it shows the folder name and such. Suddenly it just went white for me, it does not show that side bar at all. That screenshot is from a win2k box but I could have sworn I had that in xp as well. Some kind of update I did removed it.
