Explored an abandoned house in my town

There's an abandoned house on the other side of town that has been vacant for about 15 years or so. The house is completely trashed from kids partying in it and whatnot over the years. There is also some signs of "satanism" going on there. There were a few swastika's spray painted on the rear of the house, and the backdoor which is boarded up had an upside cross painted on it, along with what appeared to be real dried blood splattered on the door, whether it was human or animal blood is unknown. We went inside, which was easy because there is no front door and explored a bit, and it was pretty creepy. There were spraypainted messages on the walls with disturbing stuff such as "Help Me!" "Why must I die?" and crap like that, so it sounds like some weirdos hung out here over the years. One thing that caught my eye was a single red rose placed upon on the kitchen counter. Does that signify anything? I'm kind of curious because I remember on www.midnightsociety.com they explored a house that was abandoned and vandalized and supposedly haunted, and someone had placed a rose in the house. Of course this house is supposed to be haunted too, according to local legends. It's weird because the old man who owned the house died and left all his belongings behind, and nobody bothered to clear the place out, so stuff is strewn around the property, like his old broken TV, stereo, childrens books and stuff like that. It's the only house at the end of a long dirt road which adds to the creepiness.

....and the Sixers beat the Pacers, 89 to 65. And in local news...

...the dismembered body of a young man believed to be Paul Jones, aka RambleON to his friends was found in Creepy House on the Hill. For years now, local pot-smoking teens have been using the house for their illicit "Raver parties." Local Sheriff, Mark Andy Griffith was quoted as saying "damn kids....."

We went down the road to check it out, partly out of curiousity and also because my buddy is a firefighter in town. His group is going to be taking the firetruck down the road to make sure it can fit. The road that leads to the house is really narrow and we doubt the truck will fit down there without scraping the sides.

That would be pretty sweet to do and see... I dare you to go there alone at night time. (Bring your own weed, the people there might not share)

Does it have a basement too??

No it doesn't have a basement. The house is very strange looking. It's a giant A-frame style house, it's all roof, kind've hard to explain. There are no windows on either side of the house, I think I might bring my camera down there and take photographs.

Some local dolts wanted to "visit" some abandoned houses in a closed section of town. Inbreds. Texarkana, the city of two superfund sites! Wish I could find pictures, they are hilarious. These government folks like the EPA coming in with these machines and bunny suits in these peoples houses who are just sitting there watching TV. Well...not funny as in you're gonna die funny, but it's just ironic looking :p

A friend of mine and some friends went to visit a local "haunted" house. They drove out there at night and it was all creepy looking, but nothing really scary. They go up to the 2nd floor to look around. Still creepy, but not really scary. They see a ladder going up to the attic. They picked my friend to go up. So he climbed up the ladder and looked around. He said it stunk big time. His friends were asking him if he saw anything. Next thing he knows, some clawed beast starts clawing at the floor and coming toward him. He started screaming and then his friends started screaming and ran. After he took a second look, he realized it was a buzzard.

Has anyone in the Chicago area been to Bachelor's Grove? It's closed off to the public now and the police patrol there pretty regularly, but if you can sneak in it's worth it...really eerie. I don't know about ghosts but there is definitely some odd human activity going on there--graves dug up, signs of satanist rituals (candle stumps, animal remains, inscriptions, etc.). I hope to get around to going on Halloween one year.
