\Psi^* is the complex conjugate of a wave function ... I studied solid state physics, aka quantum mechanics, long long ago ... and is all that I remember. :\

You have to go through a citizenship period. This is quite involved, but it's mostly just fucking...

Actually, it comes from the musical, "Hair."

It was my nickname is college. Nobody really calls me that anymore, most people just call me by my last name which is very cajun.

ManyBeers was actually a nickname I gave my brother who often drinks many beers
when he drinks. For whatever the reason I have chosen it for my online moniker. I guess I like the sound of it.

I have a large amount of Native American Indian in my ancestry, and Many Beers is a very popular holiday in the culture...so popular that it's often celebrated daily!

D-Pod: The pod of computers my nerd friends and I used to sit at in junior high.
Blood: I liked Unreal Tournament and it has a lot of blood.

Dark Shadow was a handle I used to use in most FPS games I played back then... guess where I hid?

Condensed it to DarkShade later on... it was taken when I tried to register so I threw in the x. I used it for AT cuz I started here as a lurker.

Wild=because a girlfriend long ago said that when we first me my eyes looked to her like a wild animal, (i.e.; she credited herself for changing me---girls always want to change guys)

Horse=because I've been called a "stallion" by several girls

Ive never seen anyone post under the user name "In5ecure", you may want to see if its available 😉

No brag, just fact. Heh.
I think my username (used on other forums also) originated here. I wanted Madmax or just plain max but there were others using those names oe something similar. MY GF at the time kept saying to me "You are the best" so I became thebestMAX.

I wanted Madmax because I had just found out my name on my hand written birth cetificate was really Max and not Marc and I was mad my Mother kept it from me because she didnt like Max.

My sig is slightly modified Tina Turner song lyrics if you didnt know.

Gee! maybe we have some native indian blood in our ancestry too because my brother pretty much celebrates Many Beers day everyday.

You must've got hella picked on with that last name. :$

The same teacher that called me Beavis also called me Beaver Cleaver 😛. He was a really cool guy, though, so I didn't mind. A couple of my favorites are:

"Your parents should have named you Harold because then you'd be Harry Bever."

"You should be a gynecologist because then you could literally be Dr. Bever."

Since people seem to think it has osmething to do with bridges or a bridge building game, it doesn't.

it was an encryption algorithm or something like that in the book Cryptonomicon.

Here I was thinking it was something geeky, pre-solve, didn't catch the o is after the l until now.

JT - initials
syo - first few letters of my hometown

When making my first e-mail address, I wanted something to set be apart from the other JTs and be recognizable to HS friends.

fatpat - Well, I used to be a fatty in my grade school years, and was a nickname given to me that's stuck ever since. I'm not fat anymore though. 😀

Oh, and my name is Patrick, so that explains the second part.
The numbers? No clue. They mean nothing. IIRC, I tried registering fatpat on a site and it was unavailable, and gave me 268 as a viable result. I took it and used it.
