 the new av.

the username i originally wanted to have was "-mogwai"

the hyphen wasn't allowed, so i tried "mogwai"... someone else had it, so i couldn't get it.

so, i thought of my favorite band (explosions in the sky) and used the initials to come up with my name. i don't like ever using capital letters unless i'm referencing God, so instead of EITS, it's eits.

cool story, i know.

but you could have paid "mogwai" off . . .

It was the 80s.

I was a kid.

I cranked up the brand new 1200 baud modem and dialed up my friend's BBS. I needed a username. I was drinking cherry kool-aid at the time. The rest is history.

Short for "CyberZer0," which became pretty lame in the mid '90s.

More history:
You were "CyberThreat" on the SNES / Sega Genesis XBAND network.

That was taken when you signed up for an AOL trial in '96 or '97. "CyberZero" was also taken, so "CyberZer0" was chosen.

Years later, "CyberZer0" became corny as hell and you shortened it to "CZroe".

It's an Iced Earth song. It's not my favorite song by them, but I like the opening two lines of lyrics and the name of the song.

Great band, but not the greatest song. I wasn't about to be the 14071420141501750218043124th "Master of Puppets" online, though.
